Meet the Maker

Growing up in Clare, surrounded by rolling green fields, the wild Atlantic sea and majestic limestone; this landscape had a big impact on me.
After working many years as a brand designer connecting people through brand stories and design. I decided it was time to tell my stories through Irish craft. I started to design my own homeware decor products. Beneath the Ash was born out of a love for nature and creating more moments to be present. Made with Jesmonite, an eco-friendly casting material; each piece is mixed, poured, sanded & sealed by hand. Pattern and colour are different on each, this makes each piece unique and one of a kind.
Continuously inspired by nature, When looking for inspiration for this collection, I didn’t have far to look; connecting back to the Burren landscape through colour, texture and love. I created pieces that carry this connection into your home; bringing some of the outdoors in. Form and function are greatly considered on each piece . Through materials and process, sustainability and environmental consciousness is at the core of each small batch with majority of pieces made to order, all packaging is recyclable, growing is encouraged with a seed paper tag included with each piece. I repurpose leftover material and broken pieces to create new unique vases.
I hope my products make a wonderful addition to your home celebrating Irish craft and inspire you to { take a moment }.
